“Prima cosa non sprecare: Paciano verso un futuro con meno spreco di cibo, meno rifiuti e più riciclo”

Dal 22 al 29 novembre Paciano aderisce alla SERR 2014, la Settimana Europea per la Riduzione dei Rifiuti.

Il più piccolo comune del Trasimeno sta preparando una settimana ricca di attività. Alcune di queste riguarderanno il tema specifico di quest’anno, lo spreco del cibo, e verranno affrontati anche altri temi più generali relativi a riduzione, riuso e riciclo dei rifiuti. Tali attività hanno l’obiettivo di informare e sensibilizzare la popolazione, dalle scolaresche agli anziani, ed insegnare le “buone pratiche”. Saranno coinvolte la maggior parte delle associazioni locali, le scuole dell’Istituto Comprensivo Paciano, Panicale e Tavernelle, la società che gestisce i rifiuti TSA, la cooperativa Isola (gestore della mensa scolastica), il Centro Terzo Millennio e l’Amministrazione Comunale.
La settimana inizierà sabato, 22 novembre alle 21 a Palazzo Baldeschi con un evento pubblico sul tema “Lo spreco del cibo” durante il quale verrà proiettato il film-documentario canadese, con sottotitoli in italiano, “Just Eat It – A Food Waste Story” di Grant Baldwin (Canada , 2014, 75’). La proiezione del film sarà realizzato dal Centro Terzo Millennio di Paciano in collaborazione con il Festival CinemAmbiente di Torino dove il film è stato presentato con grande successo all’edizione di quest’anno. Ad accompagnare la proiezione del film sarà la presentazione del tema da parte di esperti nel campo.  Sarà il Sindaco Riccardo Bardelli ad aprire la programmazione, con la partecipazione del capo gruppo del FAI di Lago Trasimeno, Luca Marchegiani, il dott. Roberto Pellegrino del Coordinamento Regionale Zero Rifiuti e Leslie Busby del Centro Terzo Millennio (un progetto della fondazione omonimo, fondata dal presidente storico di Greenpeace International David McTaggart) che ha sede a Paciano.

Durante la settimana ci saranno attività di animazione per bambini dice il Vicesindaco Cinzia Marchesini: <<mirate ad insegnare le “buone pratiche”, come il laboratorio “verso la società del riciclo” dell’Arci “Vecchio Mulino. Materiale informativo sullo spreco del cibo verrà consegnato alle insegnanti delle scuole del territorio che ne faranno oggetto di studio e discussione nelle classi>>.
Per i bambini più piccoli ci saranno corsi dimostrativi di riutilizzo degli scarti del cibo per la tintura delle stoffe, corsi di origami con carta destinata al riciclo e letture animate sulla riduzione, riuso e riciclo dei rifiuti in collaborazione con TrasiMemo, Amici della Biblioteca, Museo della Canapa di Sant’Anatolia di Narco e FAI.
Tutti potranno partecipare a workshop per la creazione di addobbi natalizi per il Paese ricavati da materiale di scarto (bottiglie di plastica, vecchi CD, etc) e realizzare tappetini con stracci a cura delle artigiane Solidea Mencarelli e Monica Giacomelli.

Si terrà un’assemblea pubblica, giovedì alle 21, con i vertici di TSA per aggiornare la cittadinanza sulla raccolta differenziata, dare la possibilità di porre quesiti e domande in merito, ed informare le associazioni del Paese dei requisiti necessari per le feste di paese al fine di ottenere la certificazione di “Ecofesta”.

Venerdì 28 la scuola secondaria di 1° grado presenterà il calendario 2015 realizzato dagli studenti, un progetto editoriale che ogni anno viene portato avanti all’interno del programma scolastico e che questo anno sarà dedicato al tema del lavoro. La serata sarà presieduta oltre che dall’Amministrazione e dalla Dirigente Scolastica Giuseppina Cerone anche dalla Vicepresidente della Regione Carla Casciari.
Nella giornata di chiusura della settimana, sabato 29, dalle ore 10 ci sarà la “winter edition” di Let’s clean Up Europe, che prevede la raccolta di rifiuti abbandonati nel centro storico del Paese e nelle campagne circostanti, attività in collaborazione con Congrega Gioventù Muscolosa e Team quad fegatello 4×4 Paciano. Verrà organizzata anche un’iniziativa specifica contro lo spreco del cibo che metterà insieme i cittadini più anziani e quelli più giovani, alleoe 17, presso la sala Museo della Banca della Memoria a Palazzo Baldeschi, dal titolo: “La memoria del cibo: strategie di sopravvivenza alimentare nelle campagne umbre del dopoguerra”  in collaborazione con Amici della Biblioteca, Oratorio di Paciano e CSA “Remo Boldrini”.

“First thing you do not waste: Paciano toward a future with less waste of food, less waste and more recycling”

November 22 to 29 Paciano adheres to SERR 2014, the European Week for Waste Reduction.

The smallest town of the Trasimeno is preparing a week full of activities. Some of these relate to the specific theme of this year, the waste of food, and will address other more general issues relating to reduction, reuse and recycling of waste. These activities are intended to inform and sensitize the population, from school children to the elderly, and teach the “good practices”. They will be involved in most of the local associations, schools of the Comprehensive Paciano, Panicale and Tavernelle, now that manages waste TSA, the cooperative Island (manager of the school canteen), the Third Millennium Centre and the City Council.
The week will begin Saturday, November 22 to 21 at the Palazzo Baldeschi with a public event on the theme “The waste of food” during which will be screened the film-Canadian documentary, subtitled in Italian, “Just Eat It – A Food Waste Story” Grant Baldwin (Canada, 2014, 75 ‘). The screening of the film will be produced by the Center Third Millennium of Paciano in collaboration with the Festival CinemAmbiente of Turin where the film was presented with great success at this year. To accompany the screening of the film will be the presentation of the topic from experts in the field. It will be the Mayor Riccardo Bardelli to open programming, with the participation of the head group of the FAI of Lake Trasimeno, Luca Marchegiani, Dr. Roberto Pellegrino of the Regional Coordination Zero Waste and Leslie Busby Center of the Third Millennium (a project of the foundation of the same name, founded by the president of Greenpeace International historical David McTaggart) which is based in Paciano.

During the week there will be entertainment for children says the Deputy Mayor Cinzia Marchesini: << aimed to teach the “good practices” as the laboratory “towards the recycling society” Arci “Old Mill. Information materials on the waste of food will be delivered to the school teachers of the territory which will be the subject of study and discussion in classes >>.
For younger children there will be demo courses reuse scraps of food for the dyeing of fabrics, courses with origami paper for recycling and animated readings on the reduction, reuse and recycling of waste in collaboration with TrasiMemo, Friends of the Library, Museum Hemp Sant’Anatolia di Narco and FAI.
Everyone will participate in workshops to create Christmas decorations for the country derived from waste material (plastic bottles, old CDs, etc) and create mats with rags by the artisan Solidea Mencarelli and Monica Giacomelli.

A public meeting will be held on Thursday at 21, with the leaders of TSA to update citizenship on separate collection, giving the opportunity to ask questions, and questions about, and to inform the associations of the country of the requirements for the parties of the country to order to obtain the certification of “Ecofesta”.

Friday 28 secondary school 1st grade will present the 2015 calendar produced by the students, a publishing project that is being carried out annually within the school curriculum and that this year will be dedicated to the theme of the work. On the closing day of the week, Saturday 29, from 10 am there will be the “winter edition” Let’s Clean Up Europe, which provides for the collection of waste left in the historic center of the country and in the surrounding countryside, activities in collaboration with the Coven Youth Muscular Team 4×4 and quad fegatello Paciano. Will be also organized a specific initiative against the waste of food that will bring together senior citizens and younger, alleoe 17, at the hall of the Museum of the Bank of Memory Palace Baldeschi, entitled: “The memory of the food: strategies survival food in the Umbrian countryside postwar “in partnership with Friends of the Library, Oratory of Paciano and CSA” Remo Boldrini “.
